...and my goal is to improve your quality of life. By this, I mean I would like to provide you with all the support and necessary tools to not only look your best, but make you feel, move, and live your greatest, pain-free life.
My fitness and coaching journey started when I was attending college. While pursuing my major, (which was completely unrelated to health and fitness, I might add) I discovered a passion for health and wellness; and furthermore, helping people feel better. Shortly after completing college and an internship at a physical therapy office, I began to work at a fitness center with an integrated chiropractic and physical therapy practice. It was there, while having the opportunity to work with some incredibly knowledgeable and helpful teachers, that I truly discovered my passion. As I worked towards becoming a trainer at the facility, I spent countless hours observing, asking, interacting, and gaining insight from mentors at the therapy and chiropractic office, learning a great deal not only about fitness training and therapy modalities, but also about nutrition. From this point I went back to school, furthering my education in the field at both a local college, and by attending classes at physical therapy school in the Netherlands.
I strive to continue my education, learning not only about fitness and exercise but also pursuing courses and techniques for recovery and therapy. With about a decade of experience, I have worked with an incredibly wide range of clients from national level high-school athletes, college athletes, and professional athletes to clients at drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and assisted living homes.
Whether just starting or looking to further your movement and fitness knowledge, let me help. I want you to reach your goals and use my experience to get there.
Gym not for you? Let’s face it, not everyone has the time or wants to spend the time in a gym doing hours of workouts a week. That’s why I have programs focused on concise, short and effective workouts to get you moving and feeling better without taking hours of time a week. Maximize your time. These programs offer the most “bang for your buck” in a time-sense. Don’t have equipment laying around? Don’t worry about it, I have options for that as well. The goal for me is not to just provide you with effective workouts, but also teach you what I have learned over the last decade. If you are an active gym-goer or already workout from home, I will be continually adding workouts for all types of equipment, body part specific, and HIIT routines.
With clients, I always stress the importance of form in exercises. To achieve good form, and therefore better results, it is incredibly useful to have good cues. I prioritize the form and function of each exercise in order to yield you the best results for your time. This also provides a safer experience while working out. Results follow form and control. With my membership you will receive weekly educational highlights, teaching exercise tips and mechanisms to help you train and move better; including individualized exercise form advice and equipment education. I look forward to working with you.
